So fun fact: I’m not so great at keeping up with blogs.

I apologize. If I’m honest, I’ve found it really difficult to sit and write about all that is happening because it’s just so much fun living in it.

But let me give you a recap of my month in Mozambique and I will write another blog soon to let you know how debrief is going, because it’s pretty great.

Our ministry this month and ministry host was so great. We got the privilege of helping her paint her school in time for it to start on the 1st of Feb. One of our tasks was to paint the preschool and it was my favorite project (minus the struggle to get the colors right). There’s the almost completed building:

We also got to have the fun experience of hand washing our clothes for the first time. It’s definitely a great arm work out. Here is Michelle and I washing away:

A few of my favorite days were the last few days. School started two days before we left so we got to go hang out with the kids during their play times. They were so cute!

I also got to carry around a baby in a capulana. (Basically my dream since we got to Mozambique) His name was Vuxosi and it means Kingdom which I think is so cool. He was quite the cutie and I know he will do big things for the Lord as he grows. It was fun to pray over him as he slept on me:

Overall, this month was a lot of things. It was hard. It was fun. It was growing. It was stretching. It was a solid first month. There is a lot more to grow in and the Lord has shown me so much already during the first few days of debrief. But he is a good Father, and he will bring me into and through it with overflowing love and honestly, I can’t wait.

I pray that all of you are doing well! Feel free to message be about anything. I promise to respond as soon as I am able 🙂
