Well here I am, a week past graduating college and I could not be more excited for the next step in my life. Reflecting back on the last three years I can see how much I have learned, but I think more importantly, I can see how I have grown so much more than I ever imagined possible. I have begun to grow into who I was created to be and further explore my passions to find my niche in life.
The first step to following after all that God has placed on my heart has one name, The World Race. This journey will take me to eleven different countries:
Mozambique
Malawi
Zambia
Philippines
Thailand
Cambodia
Colombia
Equador
Peru
Chile
Argentina
My team and I will spend a month in each one, partnering with people and different organization. Each day will be different with new opportunities to help further the Kingdom and proclaim God’s glory.
I have been dreaming about doing this program ever since I heard about it right before freshman year of college and it’s still surreal to me that it is actually happening. I am beyond stoked for this almost year of traveling and opportunity to learn about the different cultures that God has so intricately created, while at the same time doing what I love, serving and loving on others. I anticipate being stretched and grown, and shaped and molded tremendously in these 11 months and I am asking for your help to walk through it well.
I am in need of people who are willing to commit to pray from me daily. Leading up to my departure in January 2016, and every day that I am on the race. Pray for my team, for those that we will meet along the way, and for me as well. My main prayer in this time (which is also a great prayer for life in general) is that,
In everything I say and do, may only God be glorified through it.
I want to make to most out of this time of preparation as well as my time on the race. It is going to be so much fun, but also so challenging.
