I guess this is the part where I tell you a little bit about myself…

Way back in 1987 my parents got a little surprise, and that was me. Then 7 years
later they got my sister. Together we make one crazy mess of people, that I love.
I've lived in Pennsylvania most of my life, with a brief stint in Georgia. I spent my
childhood all around the Philadelphia suburbs and then my formative years in South
central PA. Now, I've been living in Pittsburgh while my family has relocated to
Chattanooga, TN. We get around.

I graduated from Messiah College in May 2010 with a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations. I loved Messiah. It was a great place for me to grow as a person, while also having some crazy wild times. I met some amazing people, including some of the best friends I have today, and I learned so much about being a follower of Jesus. I could throw out some buzzwords like community, reconciliation, social justice… but you get the idea.
I have the greatest friends in the world. I know everyone says that, but its true. They're supportive, caring, funny, and a little insane. I wouldn't trade any of them for a thing in this world. (Note to friends: if you're not in the pictures posted, deal with it. I can only fill the internet with so many things.)

I love Greece. I'm not Greek but I studied abroad there in 2009 and I fell in love with the country, the people, the landscape, the food, everything. Someday, I will be living there, soaking my feet in the Agean Sea and stuffing my face full of baklava.
And about the World Race: The reason I'm going, well, that's up to God. I'm not exactly sure what His plan is for me on this journey but I'm excited to find out. I don't know why He called me to go on this trip but He knows my heart for people and I want to use that as best for the kingdom as I can. When God calls, you better listen. There's no getting out of it, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Other random facts about me:
I'm Italian, and yes, it is awesome.
I love warm weather. San Diego is my dream city.
Music is my passion. There are few things besides it that make me feel more complete, content, and at peace.
I may be the only American who doesn't actually like Thanksgiving dinner.
Pertaining to the latter, I highly dislike mashed potatoes.
When I was a child, I wanted to be a stand up comedian. Sometimes I still do.
I could eat desserts for every meal for the rest of my life.
I want to be like Tina Fey when I grow up. Oh, and Jesus.
