So even though my computer wasn’t functioning all month in the Philippines, I was able to put together a video recap after the fact, showcasing our time with Athletes in Action.
In actuality, a lot of ministry days could be fairly slow, but it was still a great month for team bonding; we all had a great time together, and enjoyed playing basketball with the kids, as well as doing some manual labor in helping rebuild the local church for renovations.
Song choice is But For You Who Fear My Name, by a great new folk band called The Welcome Wagon. They’re a husband & wife combo out of Brooklyn, New York, where Vito Aiuto, the husband, is a pastor at Resurrection Church.
I’ll attach the lyrics below the video. Lyrics are based off of Malachi 4:2, which says, “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.”
But for you who fear my name,
the sun of righteousness will rise
with healing in his wings.
And you shall go forth again,
skip about like calves
coming from their stalls at last.
You shall be my very own
on the day that I
cause you to be my special home.
I shall spare you as a man,
as compassion on his son
who does the best he can.
But for you who fear my name,
the sun of righteousness will rise
with healing in his wings.
And you shall go forth again,
skip about like calves
coming from their stalls at last.
You shall be my very own
on the day that I
cause you to be my special home.
I shall spare you as a man,
as compassion on his son
who does the best he can.
But for you who fear my name,
the sun of righteousness will rise
with healing in his wings.
And you shall go forth again,
skip about like calves
coming from their stalls at last.
