Here’s the full video recap of our month in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our 3 teams worked with LightHouse in Action, doing mostly bar ministry, as well as work in the coffee shop and some manual labor.
Music for the video is courtesy Brad Myers, one of my good friends from back home, and an incredibly talented musician.
I’ll post some of the lyrics to this particular song below the video, but the summary of this song is to not feel constrained by what has become comfortable to us; to go ahead and step out into the world, and fulfill what God has planned for us.
It comes in waves, like the ocean’s tide; and separates your brokenness from mine.
I can not think of myself, and consider you.
See, I know where you’re going, but I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
Like the promise I made, that promise won’t break, so listen just one more time.
Go on; I think the world has been waiting for you.
And it’s your time to tell of the wonderful truth.
And don’t look back, for I know the plan that he has, and it’s for you.
When doubt creeps in, and you question why,
You ended up here, and starting to fear; alone in the night.
See, morning will come, and hope will rise.
You have the call; He’s brought you this far, and always provides
Go on; I think the world has been waiting for you.
And it’s your time to tell of the wonderful truth.
And don’t look back, for I know the plan that He has, and it’s for you.
So Lord, hold her close to you.
Go on, I think the world has been waiting for you.
And its’ your time to tell of the wonderful truth.
And don’t look back, for I know the plan that He has, and it’s for you.
