I grew up in a Pentecostal Christian home with a lot of tradition and structure. Family was always put first. I wouldn’t change that for the World.
I am a Journeyman Welder by trade. I’ve worked with Custom sheet metal and exotic metals, worked oilfield with pipe (crazy fun), pipe fit in sour sites and currently weld Structural I beam for pipe Modules. I love love LOVE welding. It is truly a passion that God has blessed me with.
Eating is so fun! Noting better than a stuffed spaghetti squash!
My hands could be mistaken for guy hands with the amount of calluses and dirt embedded into them. So proud of them though. That and my muscles.
I don’t like candy or pop but I’m a nut case for chocolate.
My family is the “tell it like it is” kind of family. We are very involved in each other’s lives. The best laughs I have EVER had have been with my fam. It wouldn’t be unusual to be woken up by a duck call or pegged with a roll of toilet paper for no reason at all.
If I’m outside I’m happy. Doesn’t matter if I’m asleep on the lawn, butchering roosters or slacklining by myself. As long as I’m in the fresh air you got yourself a happy camper.
Jesus has rocked my life. In the simplest way possible, the best way to describe it is that when I established a personal relationship with God, my life finally felt real.
I love observing and reading people. I love knowing about the inner “guts” of a person. Deep, intentional conversations. Knowing about what makes a person tick and what drives them to be the way they are.
I hang my hat in Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada. We are oil country. Canola fields as far as the eye can see and pump jacks kicking up oil everywhere you look. Everyone drives a truck. And if it aint lifted then you aren’t from around here.
2 things I am passionate about:
1) People being real and true to themselves. Like what you like and do what you have always dreamt to do! Be real and don’t try to mask who you truly are.
2) Females not to limit themselves to what they can and cannot do just because of their gender. I love girl power and when females go against the norms of our culture.
