God is faithful in everything He does.  Whether you know it or not, if He closes a door a new and infinitely better one is inevitably opening.  Though I admit, sometimes it is hard to be patient and to wait for the right opportunity…I know from experience – if something looks like a good idea there is a 150% chance I am going all in…and many times will have to retract very soon after because nothing that I did was well thought out or prayed over.  BUT the times when prayers have been answered, the times that have been prayed about, those are the times that go well.  When it is God directing my life, life is good – great even.  When I am trying to control every little thing, life is uh, not so good.  This has been proven in my life time and time again.

With that said, I need YOU.  I need you to pray that this journey goes according to the Lord’s will and that He will open doors for you and for me that allow His great love to be shared in our everyday lives.  One of the most simple and obvious things to do when we need the Lord’s help (which is all of the time) is to pray. There can never be too much prayer.  I ask you to pray for me as I truly believe that your prayers are both powerful and effective.

James 5:16, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Some of you may wonder why I am doing this race.  Why I am leaving for nine months to live out of a backpack when I have a nice home and a comfy bed here in the states.  Well, Mark 16:15-16 says it best, “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'”  I am simply doing what the Bible says to do, what we as followers of Christ are commanded to do.

You may not have the ability to pick up and leave your school, your family, your job, and your life for nine long months to serve the Lord, but what you do have is the ability to help send someone who does.  Through your prayers and encouraging words, I will be able to go and share the heart of Jesus with people who desperately need the hope of an eternal life.  But on top of those things, it is imperative that I get the finances to be able to go to these five countries and do God’s work.  Please pray about making a donation to me to send me to the nations and share the truth of Jesus Christ.  This is a way for you to have a part in sharing hope with children who do not have a mother or a father, women who are faced with oppression everyday, people who have been sex trafficked for profit, and anyone else the Lord places on my path.

I cannot wait to see what my faithful and powerful God does next.  I want YOU to become a part of my team to share love, hope, and truth with the nations.

God bless!
