Today, Brooke and I left at 7am to walk to Petrich, Bulgaria.  We could have caught the bus for only .80 cents, but we wanted to save money.  It took us an hour and 35 minutes.  We REALLY wanted our coffee and pastry!!!  I can’t even begin to explain what a blessed day it has been.  I never knew how wonderful it would be to just spend a day with one person instead of being in a group of seven women.  It is the BEST!  We even found peanut butter!  I don’t think you understand how much you crave it when you can’t find it.  We have been looking for a long time.  We had to just hug each other and embrace the peanut butter with sighs.  Haha.  The locals probably thought we were psycho.  Then when we were having tea at a spot that had wifi…wait for it…she gave us a glass of ice for our tea.  It was so nice to actually have a “cold” drink.  Being able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life has been refreshing.  This has been the greatest sabbath day so far!!

Our lovely and highly nutritious breakfast!

Aww..this is our refreshing glass of lemon ice tea with ICE!!!
ICE?!?! So refreshing.
A miracle!! We found peanut butter!!  This was a very emotional moment.

Mmmm…tiny pizza slices for lunch.

That is our sabbath day in a nutshell.  Loved my time with Brooke (my twin)!
