I present to you TEAM SOZO!!!!! Sozo means to heal in Greek. When we began to discuss a name for our team several us had healing in our heads. And others had Sozo in their heads. WHAT?!?! It was totally God speaking to us. They say most team names tend to be prophetic over the team and what God will do through them.
We had shared our full testimonies earlier that day with one another to get to know where each other was coming from. None of us had really talked much before being placed in this team together, but it was neat how many of us had similar stories. Wow God definetly knew what He was doing by putting us together. Most of us really didn't want to be on an all girls team, but now LOVE it!!! The Lord has things within each of us He needs to heal, but from our experiences we have the wisdom and compassion to help others who are going through similar things.
Our declaration for our team this year is:
The Lord is the "Great Physician". And we are His patients, but also His hands, feet, and mouth to the nations. As the Lord works healing in our lives He brings healing to the nations through us.
While still being healed ourselves we will speak healing onto the nations.
We also have a verse will have picked to live out. James 1:27 "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world".
I am stoked to begin this journey with these beautiful women of God. Seeing the Lord perform miracles through us has me sitting on the edge of my seat. I have never experienced anything like it, but I know the Lord is going to bring healing in such miraculous ways the people won't be able to explain it in any way expect praise to God.
