God never ceases to amaze me at how He provides. How He turns the hearts of the people He wants to use. How He shows up at, what is in my mind, is the very last moment. Of course, it’s not REALLY the last moment is it? It’s just RIGHT when I need it…the perfect moment.
Flash Back to a week ago.
I have been planning on moving to Georgia in what is now, 2.5 weeks.
Problem is, I don’t have my plane ticket.
“Ok God. You asked me to go, I said yes, I’m planning everything around this big move, however I don’t yet have a way of actually GETTING to Georgia. I don’t have a plane ticket and I don’t have money for one. I need to buy it by the 14th, and I need you to provide.”
A week passes, and still nothing.
Support raising is SLOW,
and it seems that everyone I thought would support me is saying no this time around. Awesome.
Flash Forward to the evening of the 13th.
We have a nice family get together, and my Uncle slips me a donation for my trip.
Thank you Jesus! Now I only need about $125 more.
Doesn’t seem like much….but it is when you don’t have it.
It’s the morning of the 14th.
Today’s the day I need to buy my plane ticket.
Rates will nearly double if I wait until tomorrow.
After checking my email and support account and receiving no signs of promise, I
take a deep sigh and say.
“Well alright Lord. I don’t feel it, I don’t see it, but I KNOW you are the faithful provider of your kids. You promise that, and I will rest in that today. I need your provision. “
Nothing, nothing, nothing all morning.
I hadn’t really mentioned the need apart from the few people who had asked, so I just run some errands and wait.
Come after noon I receive a phone call from a sweet family friend.
She wants to donate a flight voucher that is just enough to cover the rest of what I need. JESUS. JESUS. JESUS.

n the seemingly big and little……You rescue me, in the nick of time….always.
