Things you may or may not know about me……….
1) I have a freckle right on my tear duct.
2) I was home schooled all the way through high school.
3) I have ridden horses since I was 9.
4) I am 6 feet tall.
5) I used to be in a circus.
6) My Grandparents were opera singers.
7) I once dropped a piece of garlic bread down the stairs at a hostel and just picked it up and kept eating it.
8) My voice gets REALLY HIGH when I get passionate or excited about something.
9) At home I usually have on two different color socks.
10) I will run, scream, and hide like a little girl when I see or hear a ‘june bug’.
11) I have a thing…a REALLY BIG THING….for swings.
12) My dream job would be being a wife and a mother.
13) Ice Cream and I….We were made for each other.
14) I adore country music.
But if you really knew me…..You would know why I’m on The World Race
To be the hands and feet of Jesus however He see’s fit.
But the trip is not over. God still has bigger plans for this year then I could ever imagine.
BUT, I need $2,601 in 30 days or I’m going home.
A lot of people complement me on what I’m doing this year.
They say……
‘Wow, your really lucky that God called you to this.’
‘Man, I wish I could do something like that.’
‘So how did you know this is where God wanted you?’
‘So your really going all out with this God thing huh?
And I say to myself. What? This isn’t anything special.
I’m simply captivated by my Daddy….
…..and I’m doing what He told me to do.
Jesus does not ask that we care for the less fortunate. He demands it. As Christ followers, caring for the orphans, the widows, and the desolate, is not an option. Its a requirement.
So I invite you to join me in what God is doing through the nations this year.
