Seeing demons in the courtyard,
figures hovering over your bed,
having night terrors,
RE-experiencing past struggles over and over again,
and feeling oppressed.
All these things have been going down here in Albania. We have been living with another team this month….Team Cherished Flame. And this has been their reality. Its weird how two teams can be doing the same ministry, living in the same dorm in the same country and yet experience completely different things.
“We are literally some of the first missionaries to step foot here and it is becoming more evident everyday that Satan is not happy about it. My team is being bombarded. We are hearing lies, we are having crazy freaky nightmares, we are being woken up in the middle of the night… at the same time as others… multiple nights. “This month has been our biggest month of oppression. Since this is a highly Muslim country it has been hard to feel the joy of the Lord. Our whole team has been hearing lies in their head, tired, in a funk, extra irritable, on edge, and some are having more problems back home than usual to distract them from ministry.” – Linsey Thomas
“Satan is going down. That’s all there is to it. And not just in some distant, cosmic, battle. He will not win this month. He will not be able to stop God’s work in Albania. God has given us authority and power as His kids, and we declare that Satan and his demons have absolutely no place here. They are to be gone in the Name of Jesus, the Name that is above every other Name, and through the saving work of His blood. Jesus is here, Jesus is real, and there’s a battle going on in our world right now.” – Stephanie Bernotas
This land belongs to the LORD……not to satan. But he seems to think otherwise….
and our teams are getting TICKED OFF.
So body of Christ. I am asking you to pray pray pray. To intercede for us. For the Spirit to be SO thick and present here on campus that ALL DARKNESS FLEE’S. For peace, joy, and rest for our teams.
