It has finally hit me. I think its about time….haha….4 days until I leave. As of two days ago, I am starting to get those excited jitters when I wake up in the morning.
Yea thats me.. hah
But on a serious note.
As I finally finished emptying out my closet, I was surprised to find it hard to give away some of my clothes. I consider my self fairly minimalistic in the clothing and adornment department, but the articles of clothing I did have held many memories. Special outings with friends, pieces that had been gifted to me by loving hands, and on and on I could go. I found myself having to verbally say ‘Yes Lord, Yes Lord’ as I put each item in a bag that will soon be heading down to Mexico.
I am ready, ready to dive into all that God has for me over the next year. To see how God fulfills His promises and provides. Right now I am praying for a clear mind and focused heart as I go through more goodbyes and finish tying up the ends of everything before I take off. Your prayers are very much appreciated!
