The World Race encourages a culture of being intentional and real with one another.  I am learning a lot about myself and about the importance of this way of living.  American culture says that other people are not your responsibility.  We live the way we want to live and are rarely called to a higher standard.  However Christ calls us to live differently, to step outside ourselves and be a servant.  We must show the love of Christ wherever we are.  We also should live diferently with one another.  If someone isn't living according to the gospel, Christians have a responsibility to call another Christian out (in love of course)… and vice versa.  We also must be called into the greatness that Christ is creating in us.  After all we are a new creation, so let's act like it.

I've realized that this way of living is harder than I thought it would be.  First of all, confrontation does not come easy to me.  Secondly, it's hard to serve and love others the way Christ has called us to love.  So, I challenge you as well as myself to really dig deep with the ones you love and serve one another in love.

"For you, brothers, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."  Galatians 5:13
