4 weeks to change a life.
So I have just recently realized what 4 weeks really means. This year in each country we visit for ministry we will have 4 weeks, less in most cases to make an impact…
…to present the gospel, to live the gospel, to show someone we love them, to show people that Jesus loves them, to open up to people, to notice when people are opening up to us, to help a ministry, to build a home, to build a church, to teach a child that even though their parents may have abandoned them they have a father in heaven that loves them more than life itself, to teach a person who has lost their humanity through trafficking that their life is theirs for the taking and Christ will help bring them back, to show people who can’t see their worth that contrary to how they have been treated their whole lives they have value far beyond what they could ever imagine, to step outside our comfort zones, to tear down the alters in our hearts, to help others do the same, face our fears, to move past our preconceived notions, to be guided by the Spirit, to do the will of our Father, to figure out what His will is, to adjust to our new home and surroundings, to build relationships, to maintain the relationships that the World Race already has, to hold everything with an open hand knowing that nothing is ours to keep this year to suck it up and keep going, to find joy in every moment, everyday because every day is a gift and then to write it all down for people back at home.
Not so easy but we are trying, please be patient and bear with us. J
