Hi everyone!  The title says it all…we’ve arrived safely in Africa.  All 52 of us are in a town called Nelspruit, which is a South African town near the border of Mozambique.  We spent the last 2 days just outside Johannesburg, and we’re slowly making our way to our ministry location.  It’s a bit cold here, with temperatures ranging from about 75F during the day to low 50’s at night…to us that’s cold, anyway!  Mozambique will be warmer, but either way I like the colder weather better than the hot Asia weather!  It’s nice not to sweat for a change.

The reason we’re not yet in Mozambique is because we’re having a hard time getting transportation to there.  At this point in time, we’re still not sure how we’ll cross the border.  Just like in Haiti, though, God will provide!  Your prayers will help us a lot as we continue to move closer.  It sounds like my team will be out “in the bush” of Africa, doing crusades and sharing with people.  It also sounds like we’ll be working with orphans, but things are always changing…so who knows!

The good news is that I am really excited about what’s to come, even though I have no idea what it is.  We all feel that it will be a tough three months for us, with many storms coming our way.  The awesome thing is that this is God’s way of growing us – if we stay strong and united, the outcome of God’s trial will be amazing!

Please just keep us in prayer.  Cathy and I are now at $18,000, thank you all for the donations!  We still have a ways to go, but it will come in!  I love you all, and I am praying for you all back home.  So, we’ll see when we have internet again…if we even will for the next three months.  Just know that I am safely in God’s hands.  🙂
