Time is quickly counting down before we board the plane to fly from Bangkok through Nairobi, Kenya onto Johannesburg, South Africa. From there, we will be traveling to our ministry location for the month of June – in Mozambique! That’s right, we’ll be spending the month in the Portugese speaking country on the southeastern coast of Africa.
We don’t have many details as of yet, but I have been very anxious about going. I have no idea what Africa is like! It sounds like my team will be working with orphans this month, which will be yet another big stretch for me. I guess God has a lot He wants to do in me this month as well, but who can complain about that!
After some serious prayer, the anxiety has melted away to excitement. I can’t wait to experience a new culture and fall in love all over again…I know it’s coming. I am leaving my expectations in Asia and preparing for yet another amazing time. We won’t be sure for a while what the internet situation will be like, but I will write when I can. Get ready!
