My team and I have been blessing the African country of Rwanda for the past few weeks now. As a team, we’ve probably led almost a couple dozen people to Christ. We’ve been doing a combination of teaching English to kids and adults, as well taking the gospel door to door.
My birthday is coming up on the 23rd, shortly followed by Christmas. Many of you are buying presents soon, or maybe you’ve already bought them. But it would be a huge blessing to me, and all the lives that God will touch through us, if you could donate to my funds as a gift. It seems like I’m asking you to donate to me, as my gift, but you misunderstand. Donating to my funds is a gift to so many people and children living in these third world countries that I’m visiting. Although I am having an incredible time, the people around me are experiencing Christ, which is infinitely more important than my fun.
Many of you reading this might have already donated, and might feel like just skipping my birthday this year. Please don’t do this. I only have $1,800 left to raise, but I have to raise it by the 31st of December. I just ask that you prayerfully consider helping me help others. Another way you could donate money, would be to tithe to my funds. That might sound a little too forward, but all tithing is, is giving to God. And I can assure you that all donations are going straight into God’s work.
