Honestly I do not know where to start..hence the title. So much has happened in just the past two weeks!
I left Chicago on Sept 9th and arrived at Guatemala City. We then took a huge bus to our first host which was right in the city. After staying just one night in Guatemala City we took a 3 and half hour bus ride to Santa Cruz Del Quiche. We arrived all 62 of us and began to set up our tents and get comfortable. We spent the first day just meeting new people and the minisrty site that our team would be working with. Our minisrty contact are missonaries from Michigan, Erv and Sally. We will be helping them at a clinic and elementarty school in Patzibal which is in the area of Chichicastenago. This week our team will be staying up in Patzibal so we don't have to make the hour drive each way everyday. We will be sleeping in our hamocks and sleeping bags. We have also gotten to do some other great things like help lead a service in a prison. We saw a handful of men come to the Lord..it was very powerful. Tonight we went to a service in Quiche and got to meet a lot of people and just love on the kids. It was a great time of worship. My time has been limited to get on the computer and we have had a lot going on.. so I apologize for not making it more interesting. I posted a bunch of pictures on my facebook because its much easier and takes less time then uploading on here. I promise to do a better blog in the next weeks. So much has happened and the Lord is using us everywhere we go..literally. We meet new people every day and pray for them and share the love of Jesus with them.
