Honestly, I have no idea what to expect on this trip. I have never been on anything like this before. The longest that I have been away from my friends and family is about 3 weeks. So this will be an adventure of a lifetime for sure!
Some of my hopes for this trip are to get closer to God. I want to be able to hear his voice whenever he is calling me. Whether it is to do something or just to be able to sit and listen in the peace and quiet. I want Jesus to open my heart and my eyes to the things that He wants me to do and to see. I want to know God’s heart and what he has planned for my future.
I also hope to meet great, life-long friends whom I can share godly relationships with. To share this adventure with those who love unconditionally and can help me grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ. My prayer is for God to help me learn as I grow and enable me to encourage and guide others.
