I need someone. Help! Not just anyone. Heeeeelp!

It's not an easy thing for me to ask for help. I've become accustomed to doing most things by myself, to being a more independent woman. But God is teaching me that sometimes I have to rely on others and that I have to trust Him with everything, at all times.

How can you help, you ask? Well, the next financial deadline is within the first week of January and I still need a little over $2000 to make the goal. It might look like a large number… I know it makes me nervous…but it also teaches me to have a deeper faith and a greater trust in God

This deadline also includes monthly donations. Say you donate $20 a month for the next 8 months. That means that the total donation of $160 counts towards the $2000, not just the first $20.

Some of you may feel that you cannot help beacuse you cannot give a  large amount or a monthly donation, but every little bit helps, truly. Even a small "one time donation" of $5 or $10.

In my mind, there is no such thing as a "one time donation." To you it may seem like it's only $5. (Just a fast food meal or a cup of Starbucks coffee.) But that $5 helps me helps others. It goes towards:

showing love to orphans in Guatemala…

teaching English in Honduras…

building a house for a single mom in Nicaragua…

… and blessing people in many other ways in the next 8 months in Asia and Africa. These things don't end when I leave. – Those orphans will always remember the first World Race team that came and sang worship songs with them in English and in Spanish. – The people who have learned some English will now be able to use that as a stepping stone in communication and possibly future jobs. – That house will stand for many years and Antonia and her family will have a dry place to sleep. – Your "one time donation" that may be percieved as just a little $10 or $20 will bless people around the world and those blessings do not end the moment I set foot on a plane for the next country or even when I come home after another 8 months on the field.

The things we do in Asia and Africa wil also have a lasting impression on the lives that are touched!

Please consider making a donation. Even if you think it might not make a difference. Trust me, it does…

The ripples continue… the momentum of Love that is generated is not something that can be so contained to one moment in time; to even the life of one child.

I'm so thankful for your continued donations, that are not "one time gifts" but beginnings.
