Our month of ministry in Cambodia has come to an end, again another month flies by! The past month in Cambodia has been amazing. Even though we were in a rural area and it was rather ruff most of the time it was so incredibly amazing too. It was so awesome to see God answer prayers and provide in phenomenal ways.
Upon arriving in Cambodia I initially was not a fan; I spent a many nights praying for God’s eyes to see His children like He does, to see this beautiful country like He does. I prayed for His heart to love Cambodia and it’s people like He so clearly does. Those prayers He answered over and over and over again. Cambodia will forever and more have a piece of my heart.
It has been a privilege and such an encouragement to see all the work, all the healing and all the restoration that God has done here. Its almost unbelievable to think that not long ago Cambodia was suffering from a horrific genocide at the hands of the Khmer Rouge and then to see such hope and love in such unexpected places. I’m so excited to see all the glorious ways God will continue to heal, restore and grow Cambodia.
I know in my heart of hearts that one day Cambodia will rise up as a great nation shinning God’s glorious light, mercies and love to all! Please keep this precious country in your prayers, please pray for continued restoration and healing. Pray for the children we taught in the district of Baray, pray that God will continue to grow their love of Him, that He’ll continue to grow their light so much so that someday their light will cast out all the darkness that is left there.
Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have been able to be Jesus’ hands and feet this month, so thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you’ve enjoyed hearing about this amazing country as much as I enjoyed the privilege of serving here!
Without further ado here’s some pictures that capture my month in Cambodia with Jesus
