2 weeks to go...
In about two weeks I’m heading to Africa again. I’m going to lead a team of crazy people who want to chase after a voice they’ve been hearing. They want to see what the world has for them. It’s going to be epic. The Lord has shown me already some things that will happen.I’ll be honest I’m not overly excited about Africa again. I’d rather go somewhere else but this is what is for me. So I’ve been thinking a lot about what is it about Africa anyways?
Before I left for my world race in Sept 2010 a friend told me that I would love Africa, that it was like no other place. I got to Africa and wasn’t that impressed. Kenya was fun and all but I didn’t get what all the fuss was about. I spent three months there and it was awesome. I learned a lot and saw a lot but at the end of it I still didn’t get it.
Now this will be my third trip to Africa. I still don’t get it.
I do believe there are things you only see and learn in Africa. Certain places have really awesome gifts and the people are special…they are rare for sure. I’m excited to see what else there is in Africa for us. I’m excited to be used and to be a vessel for the kingdom to come on earth as it is heaven. I believe I’ve been given something…I’ve been entrusted. It’s not meant to just stay inside but to come out in my life, in my words, in my actions...
Really we’ve all been entrusted…
For the summer I’ll be in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania then I’ll come back and have more exciting news for you!
