To end our month in Kenya my team along with the rest of The Q, were able to spend a week hanging out and pouring into one another. We have been able to enjoy the city, go on a Safari, and spend countless hours around a fire pit. It’s actually quite cold here at night so we bundle up around it and chat or sing by way of guitar. God is definatly good us.

With the change of a new country also brings some change in my team. My team leader decided she could better serve not in the position of a leader. The result of that is I am now team leader of Spare Ribs. I get the honor to lead us into better and better things. I’m not saying I know where we are going but I do know we are going forward and towards more of what God has for us. It’s crazy because I have had to wrestle through a lot of stubborness thus far on the race. For some reason I thought I should be a leader in some form but at every change I wasn’t. This past month I settled into learning how to be a member and how to encourage us as a team to more of the Lord.

God has other plans.

In all this transition my team has taken it well. I am excited for change. I’m excited to see what God has for me in this position and for us as a team. Things shifted this week for us. I believe there is a yearning for more of God. A thirst that will only be quenched as we walk toward Jesus. I don’t know exactly why God has me as a leader but I take it. I have a hope and an excitment for us as a team and as a squad. This month above anything you pray for us; pray for finances as we need to meet support goals and pray with expectancy. God is going to do some great things. I expect him to show up and be God…in whatever that looks like. So pray with us! We love to pray…the more the better!

We travel on a bus for about 28 hours in the morning (Friday) for Rwanda. Pray for safety and smooth travels! It should be fun for sure!

Much love friends and family! I will update when I can; internet may not be as accessable but will be in contact as I can.
