Four plane rides, a 2hour bus ride and skipping a day ahead…that’ll pretty much get ya to the Philippines!
We have been staying with a family who runs an orphanage (K.I.M). The Longs have lived here since 1991, devoting their blood, sweat and tears to this community in Manila. Outside our gates are things I never thought I’d see. People washing clothes in a tub that really looks like a feed bucket we’d use on the farm, little kids running around playing and smiling, and shacks that they call home. As I sit right now typing this I can hear the people singing karaoke on the corner! Its awesome, for REAL. It pretty much stays hot here with a few showers in the afternoon.
So what is God doing in Manila?
Soon I hope to post a video my team and made of our first few days here. In the making of this video we came together and decided God is doing beautiful things. The video is our way of showing the world the beauty that we have seen and the fun we’ve had thus far. There is a movement here. Church this morning was probably the best service I have ever attended. Oh Yea no worries friends Sunday is gonna be a great day! The service wasn’t anything spectacular. During service I was just overwhelmed with where God has brought us. A bunch of crazy Americans to Manila for such a time as this. I just got a picture of the book of Acts. In chapter 15 James stands and gives a speech to the people. He tells of how God finds favor in the Gentiles. This is what God is doing. Uniting people under His kingdom. Throughout Acts theres a church movement…All have rights to the Kingdom. Its not just one people group like the Jewish people thought for so long. Its All Nations.
My time in Manila will be short though; My team and one other leave at 4a to set off for the coast!! We are going to Port Galera. All the locals say its beautiful! Many of you supported me by buying braceltes. Those braclets were made by women who live there. The ministry is Threads of Hope.

So Im thrilled to see this come full circle and to give you all an opportunity to literally see where your money has gone to.
Its lunch time now. I should go. Continue to pray for me and my team (Team Hepzibah) as we travel and grow. Also pray for support. I currently need 10,000 dollars by December. That is only about 3,000 dollars! Thank you so much for your love and support.
Today may you walk in Boldness and without Hinderance…
ALL MY LOVE!
(pps..pics to come and videos all on the way!)
