HOLY SMOKES!!!!!
Today is Aug 30…this day marks 14days until i fly to LA to set off on this adventure. Gosh, i get to be reunited with my squad and hang out in the airport for hours….and hours! Words can’t tell you how excited i am. Its crazy to think this will be life for a year. This is the stepping stone into whats to come. I know this will give me new skin. I will never be the same. And Im just pumped to see what’s out there!!
Thank you for your support; financially and prayerfully. This journey would not have happened without you. I want you to know God has used you to pave the way. I trust you will be blessed. To date you have given 7,100 dollars. WOW! Its cool to watch God show off. he is so faithful to what he calls us to do. So with that the need still exists, the goal of 15,000. My request is simple…that you tell people about this. That you pray for me. That you obey what God is laying on your heart. However small or big…I ask you give. Give your time in prayer, give your money, and give your thoughts. Im honored to know you guys are here thinking about me. And taking time out of life to make this happen. God is ready to do some amazing things with us and through us…We just have to accept the mission and trust and go.
Have you ever read the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? We are first introduced to them in Chapter 2. Then we read the story of them in Chapter 3. King Nebuchadnezzar ends up throwing them into a furnance after they wouldn’t bow down to the statue he had built. We find throughout the story that the men don’t back down from Nebuchadnezzar. They fight for what and who they believe in. They faith is very much tested. In the end God saves them. Dang. What i want you to see is the courage and bravery they have. They believed enough in God that he would save them. That God would rescue them. Why? Because has never been anything but God. Always coming through for his children…always. At the World Race something they fully believe in is walking life in spirit of FAITH AND NOT FEAR. The further I go on my journey with the World Race, the more i believe this. I think Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego portray these traits. They give an active example of walking trust and faith. Also we see God showing off and protecting his flock. 
These stories keep me going….I love life too because it gives us our story of how God has protected us and been faithful.
So today may you walk in Faith and activly pursue the heart of God…
