Saying goodbye to our English students was very hard! We only had 2 weeks with them, and honestly at times it was hard to see any eternal impact that we might be making. Most days, I had to remind myself that sowing in the Spirit can happen in many simple ways. God said MANY times to just be obedient, love them to pieces, and let Him work.
Any doubts I may have had were cleared on our last day of classes. The students were precious. I could hardly believe the impact that loving these people really made. It seems so second nature to those of us who grew up in the church, but it was very foreign to them.
Lord, I praise Your Name for being our Creator and Redeemer! Thank you for calling our team to Chiang Rai to these specific people these past 3 weeks. Hold these awesome men and women in your heart. Thank you for the time we had with them, and continue putting people in their paths to water the seeds that were planted and grow the ones that have taken root. Your love never fails, Lord.
