One of the biggest suggestions that I have for anyone
signing up for The World Race is to make it your own. Other people’s
experiences are just that, it is there’s not yours. Live up to your potential
and strive for what God has placed in front of you. Make it your own.

Experiences in the countries will be different for each
individual. One person will love the country you hated while others will hate
the one that you loved. Ministries will pass you by in a flash. It may not be
what your hearts desire is, but it is what has been entrusted to you for that
month. Meals may entail beans and rice on a day-to-day basis, but at least
something is there to fill your tummy.

Stepping into this year I had expectations. I didn’t realize
I had these expectations until they weren’t met. I took other people’s
experiences and claimed them over myself and sadly was disappointed. Learn from
my mistakes and claim your experience to be just that, yours.

This is a year that God has called you to. Ask him what he
wants from it. Claim it and then chase after it.
