Today started like any other day. We woke up and got dressed to be ready to load up into 2 vans and a car by 7:20am. From there we headed to the House of Prayer for two hours. Typically, we would be at the House of Prayer the entire time, which is four hours, however, we needed to start painting by 10am. We painted and painted for hours, but we knew there was going to be a pleasant time soon. Around 2pm the time finally came and we changed into our swim gear and went for a little drive.
Once we arrived at the location we had to walk a little bit down a hill, however, the final result was worth it. A huge waterfall laid at the end of our destination and it was beautiful beyond description. The water was a bit cold and I decided it would be easier to jump off a cliff in order to get used to the the water, and it sounded like a lot of fun. Up, up, and up I climbed until finally the edge was reached. A local ministry, from the states was standing their and asked if I needed any encouragement to jump. I said nope it is better to just not think about it and jump. And away I went.
The water was colder than I thought, but the feeling was exhilarating. Once I got used to the water I decided to do some exploring and climb a big cliff to get some great pictures and be a bit adventurous. A local Kiwi decided to follow to make sure I wouldn’t get stuck climbing back. In true honesty it was a good thing he was there otherwise I would still be there. Most people who went up the route I decided to take jumped, but with my camera in my hand that was not an option. And maybe I was a bit scared to jump off this bigger cliff.
What a great end to a wonderful day. Thanks Jodie and Amy for sharing us this treat!!!!
