Hey ya’ll! I can’t believe I’m writing a blog! I never thought I would, I’m sorta a Luddite, I don’t even have a computer, it died last April during exams and I still haven’t bothered to replace it. I’m not really sure where to start or what to write, but here it is!
Name: Nicole Joyce Wyllie Ferguson
Hometown: Truro, Nova Scotia –currently living in St. John’s Newfoundland [loves da east coast right nice sure!]
University: Memorial University of Newfoundland
Degree: Double Major in History and Religious Studies
Work: Administration/File Maintenance at Sobeys [grocery store]
I love the ocean and being outside. The family farm is one of my favourite places on earth. I go barefoot as often as I can, and my favourite pair of shoes are my steel toed work boots. I’m as happy going to the symphony, as I am listenin to Irish/Newfoundland music an dancing a jig , as drivin and listening to what my sister would call ‘white trash’ music, haha. Most people I know call me a red neck or hippie, I suppose I’m somewhere inbetween. The more natural things are the better! I think that water isa cure for most things. I learn by experience and like hands on work. I’d rather spend the day working in the field than in the office. I like being around people most of the time, I’m definitely an extrovert, but when I need to be by myself I just disappear. I’m a tea drinker, I drink it the way you’re supposed to drink water.
I have amazing family and friends. God has blessed me with awesome community, I have some of the best friends you could ask for. I have a younger brother and sister, 4 step sisters, and 2 [by choice] older brothers.
Simply though, I’m a child of the King. God is the most important thing in my life and I seek to honour and love him daily.
