My name is Nicole Bouza. I am from Miami, Florida. Born and raised! This past May I graduated from The Honors College at Miami Dade with my A.A. and decided to take a break year… and a half. The “half” part always gets everyone thinking, but I strategically planned to start my own brownie business to raise funds for the world race. While that is all going on, I am also launching an interview section on the bouzabrownies.com website where a few friends and I will be getting to know the homeless around Miami. All very exciting things happening down here! Once I return from the world race, I have a spot in Babson College the following January to finish up my degree and pursue my entrepreneurial endeavors.
I have an amazing family that consists of my wonderful parents- Rosemarie & Tony, older brother- Anthony, younger sister- Lauren and dog-Jack (basically a brother). Not to mention all my aunts and uncles, cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd/4th and possibly 5th… We tend to lose track. Is it cliché to say that my family is the best? Because they are! I love them all dearly.
It is safe to say that I have never been camping (Assuming that time I dragged my mattress out to my backyard with childhood friends doesn’t count). I have never pitched a tent or even given a thought to living out of a book bag for 11 months. Yet, I am beyond excited to take on every obstacle that will be thrown my way during this experience.
