Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen.

Steven Reed, my squadmate, teammate, team leader, bandmate, and friend, is in danger of being sent home from the race because he isn’t fully funded

Steven was the first person from the squad that I had a conversation with. He let me stay at his house before and after training camp. We planned what kind of “special” attire we could bring on the race (and I think you saw the results in the video). And after month 3, he became my teammate and team leader. We’ve gotten along splendidly. He’s kind of the East Coast version of me; he loves his school, football, good music, reading, adventure, and being awkward.

He’s an awesome man of God, but if He doesn’t raise $1,685 in the next 2 weeks, he’ll have to go home.

That cannot be allowed.

I speak for our entire squad when I say that Steven needs to stay on the race. Not only does he have so much more to experience in his personal walk, but he also has so much more love to give to the nations. He has faithfully led our team and continues to push us to greatness. This team would not be the same without him. His wisdom speaks truth into the lives of people, and his joy is contagious. God is going to do some big things through Steven these next 5 months, but that won’t be possible if he doesn’t get his support in.

He's calm under pressure

It would be devastating to see Steven go home before the end of the race. He’s honestly my best friend on the race and has been a huge blessing in my life. Now that we’re on the same team, I get to be encouraged by him daily. We get to share our thoughts with one another without judgment. We get to go on legit manventures that take us into shark-infested waters or to the top of mountains where we can open up and talk about life.  Not to mention that if he went home, we wouldn’t be able to make more music videos like our Christmas one. That would be tragic.

And he's fashionable!

Steven Reed’s all about the World Race, and it would truly be a travesty if he had to go home. Please prayerfully consider partnering with Steven and allow him to finish out the last 5 months on the race.
