Hey yall! This is just a fun blog in response to Brandon’s blog that we should get to know each other a little more, so here’s some fun facts you may not have known. To everyone following my World Race journey, this has very little to do with the race, but you’re welcome to stick around and maybe learn something you didn’t know.
So here it goes…
1.) I’m 21
2.) I’ve lived in Florida my whole life
3.) I have one younger sister that is the exact opposite personality
from me, but we love n get along with each other.
4.) I’m an ISFJ (more or less)
5.) Even though I’m an introvert, the more time you spend around me,
you’ll realize I’m not always quiet.
6.) I drive a 1994 Camry that was a hand-me-down from my
grandparents and my dad. It leaks oil, speedometer doesn’t work,
has to warm up before it’ll shift into second gear, the driver’s
window is clamped in the up position, and the A/C is hit or miss.
But it turns on when I turn the key, so thank You Jesus! haha
7.) I have a blackbelt in Taekwondo
8.) Strength and Conditioning training is a passion of mine. ( I don’t
care for long distance low intensity cardio though.)
9.) I eat about 3lbs. of meat a day.
10.) I haven’t drank soda in several years.
11.) I love me some good BBQ
12.) Favorite drink: Milk
13.) Favorite sports: MMA, Strongman, Powerlifting, and Crossfit
14.) Favorite superhero: Wolverine. You can’t kill the guy
15.) Favorite action movie: Lone Survivor or Black Hawk Down
16.) Favorite comedy: The Longest Yard (2005 with Adam Sandler)
17.) Favorite TV shows: Dukes of Hazzard and The Cosby Show. I
really don’t follow new TV shows
18.) If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life, it would
be “Attack” by Disciple.
19.) Favorite hymn: “How deep the Father’s love”
20.) I had my first (and second) beer while up at the Man Hike/Training
Camp. (not in the same night)
21.) I’m half Cuban and I only speak enough Spanish to say “Hi”
“Chicken n Rice” and “Bathroom” lol
22.) The World Race will be my first foreign missions trip
23.) Favorite color is red (but greens cool too) #Osquad
24.) Favorite Bible verses are Ephesians 2:8-10 and Joshua 1:9
25.) I’m thinking I’ll probably get “Do Not Fear Joshua 1:9” tattooed
on my arm before the Race
26.) I was 3 months away from Navy boot camp when God redirected
me to the World Race.
27.) Favorite book besides the Bible: Fearless by Eric Blehm
28.) I was homeschooled up until 10th grade
29.) Favorite car: 1970’s Charger
30.) I started taking guitar lessons in first grade, and I’ve been playing
bass in the worship team at church for the last 5 years or so
31.) I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, but I like homemade pie
and chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies
32.) I usually have more hair on my face than on my head
33.) I work doing window washing/pressure cleaning
34.) Favorite hobby: Target shooting. I own 3 shotguns and an AR
35.) I accidentally deleted my first attempt at this blog, and had to
retype the whole thing
36.) I really miss yall. Can’t wait til we’re all back together and looking
forward to serving alongside and getting to know yall better on
the Race
