Father in Heaven –
For the children Lord, I ask that you would rise up leaders in this generation. Write on their hearts the hope that their parents lack. Let them know that they are loved by you and not forgotten in this world or the one to come. Continue to heal their sickness and malnutrition. I ask for tears of joy and rebuke the tears of division. Let them take these experiences and influence the generation after them to seek your face. Lord for Kalvean and Waso I pray a prayer of guidance. Mature these boys into men of God who seek nothing less than final victory. Let our combined brotherly love for each other ever tug at their heart. They have witnessed the truth, God don’t let them stray.
Lord, I reject the corruption that plagues this country. It has no home here. I pray for the honest police officer that was murdered in our neighborhood by another police officer. I have seen how this divides a community and engulfs it in turmoil. I have seen the drug dealers and their parasitic relationships. That is between you and them Lord but I ask that wherever there is darkness that your light would shine ever brighter. Also, Lord for those that are honest in nature, I ask that you would bless them. The hospitality I have experience here far exceeds anything I know. Your people are alive and well in the Dominican Republic and are sacrificing for the advancement of the Kingdom each day.
Lord, I pray a special blessing on Pastor Zelanda and her ministry. Her heart is in communion with yours and she only wants your will to be done. Her thoughtfulness has changed me forever and I hope to cross paths with her again someday. From day one Lord my prayer for her has been to rise up not only men for her church but also a successor. She is doing amazing works and daily is leading people to know your name. Lord, you have so strategically place her church both geographically and spiritually. Let her scatter the seed and see the harvest before her time.
Thank you for being faithful to your son. For showing me that its not all concepts and ideas but light and life. Thank you for counting me as one of your sheep and blessing me with the resources to embark on this journey. I praise you Father for orchestrating my team and bringing us untiy. May my supporters be blessed and know they are making a difference in the world. May I never forget what I have seen and give me the strength to press on.
