I said that I was going to minister with YWAM and IHOP doing coffee house discussions but it didn’t pan out so we ended up out in a Gypsy village doing life.  For those that are unfamiliar with Gypsies they are a Race of people that are considered outcasts to the European world.  Romania is the only country that will even grant them legal citizenship.  Most of them have fell into a victim mentality where they believe their problems are too big to even attempt to over come.

My ministry this month was just being an example to the people we lived
with and to the community of the village.   Most of the people in the
village are new to the Gospel if they even believe in it, so a big part
of our ministry was just being real.  Demonstrating what following
Jesus means outside of a Sunday service.  At the end of the month we
put on a huge Mexican Fiesta.  We had over 100 lbs of pork, a piñata,
live local Gypsy music and just fun.

I had a great time just living with the Gypsies.  I shared a room with Danny and Odie ages 18 and 21.   Some days we would hike a half hour to collect firewood in the forest for cooking and campfires.   Other times we would move mounds of sand, dirt, stone around to pour a concrete driveway and fence base for our contact.   At night watching WWF, playing poker, or sitting around a fire was popular.   Sometimes the best way to
communicate love is just through everyday ordinary things and meeting people where they are at.
