I’m not very good with words. In fact, I don’t often use words to express myself. I use music. Whether it’s through a simple melody that seeps from soul through my mouth, or the notes that are filtered from my fingers out of an instrument, I‘ve always found it easier to precisely express my feelings and most hidden, intimate thoughts through song.
Because of that, I know I haven’t been able to precisely articulate what The World Race means to me – the feelings that fill my heart every time somebody decides to support me and bring me one inch closer to taking the steps I so desire with God. I find it near impossible to convey the longing in my heart to serve those who don’t expect service, and hear untold stories of truth and life from them in return.
This video, created by Joseph De Leon, perfectly combines my heart and my soul. I hope it will help you understand my desire to go on this journey. I know it will do better than anything I could ever hope to put in words.
