First of all let me apologize for my lack of photo posting and blog posting this past month. You are pretty much not allowed to take photos in public in S.Sudan because they think you are a spy for the Muslims, communists or others. The lack of blog posting was because we had zero internet on our ywam (youth with a mission) base and zero cell phone reception to send or receive a text from my squad leaders and logistics peoples. I had to kneel on my top bunk bed with my hand sticking out the window. Good Times 🙂

SO WHAT DID WE DO?
This month was a special month on the race it was MANISTRY month normally our teams consist of all women or a mixture of men and women. Not this month though it was all man all the time haha
We worked with YWAM they are a great organization who I have heard lots about before the race but never worked with them so it was a great experience to see YWAM in action. Our ministry this month looked a lot like most months in Africa. 1) Manual labour 2) Preaching 3) leading Bible studys 4) eating lots of rice and beans 5) incredible fellowship and growth with my fella teammates. 6) we also showed some of the Jesus video in a elderly community in the middle of the bush. These people were 80 years old living in straw huts and farming everyday they were in great shape. Sadly we got rained on though and driving back our big land cruiser that's the car they use on safaris broke down so we had to walk 30 minutes home in the pitch black in the bush, pretty cool. 7) We also got to visit hospitals

PRAISE REPORTS
We saw multiple people saved this month! We helped improve several facilities on the YWAM base in S.Sudan! Helped shed some light on the theology of the Bible Students at YWAM S.Sudan. We also got to pray and intercede with the pastors of YEI this was the city where we lived for the past month.

OTHER REPORTS
Double Trouble
A couple of days of feeling less then my usually self and the staff at the YWam base suggested that I took a trip into town and the missionary run hospital. And yes, I have Typhoid and Malaria. Double trouble. I have some meds to take and will have to be retested later to see if they are cleared up and take a few days rest. Fortunately we are heading to a 5 day de-brief as Africa comes to a close and Asia section begins.
Please pray for a speedy recovery and for my team mates who also have the double trouble.
Money
Thank you every one for your support so far. Now I have to raise some money for meds and hospital visits and for travel home in the USA. If you are able to support me please give to my PayPal Account at [email protected] as I do not receive any money given to the aim account.

THE BEGINNING OF THE END
Today we are heading out to Thailand and that marks the last three months of my race that's only 99 days left crazy! This has been the best of my life and at times the worst through it all my life has dramatically changed! I will never be the same and never look back

Psalm 91:1
Those who live in the shelter of the most high, will find rest in the shadow of the almighty!
