Sorry it has been awhile since our last post, we have been in the process of making a HUGE decision!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE……………………………….
We are choosing to go on the July Route 1. Why is this Nate and Jess? Well there are plenty of reasons why we feel this is the best decision:
1. we will have more time, not just to fundraise but more time to build relationships where we are and more time Jess has with her precious Bella bee who she is so in love with!
2. more time. Nate is in the process of recording and we both feel that it would be better to do it slow and steady instead of fast and crappy.
3. MORE TIME!– we wouldn't be breaking our lease and we would have more time to fundraise and safe money.
We have had an extremely difficult time fundraising as well. Now we still whole heartily believe that we are blessed and we have an inheritance! We just feel to push it back it may be less stressful and we would have more time (like we keep saying) to move, save money, fundraise, record, build relationships, and to chill before our heads explode!
Deciding to go out of the country for 11 months was a huge decision in the first place so just to have time to rest in that would be a huge help!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DONATED ALREADY?
absolutely nothing. your sponsorship still is in our account and will stay in our account ( yes we have the same account and you do sponsor us the same way), this just means you guys are ahead of the game which then helps us be ahead of the game =).
Being on a different route we do go to a few different countries:
Honuras
Guatemala
El Salvador
Nicaragua
Malawi
Zimbabwe
Mozambique
Philippines
Thailand
Laos
Cambodia
GET EXCITED PEOPLE! We will continue to fundraise our self but also could of course use your help! If 275 people sponsored us $20 a month for the next 6 months our trip would be 100% funded 5 months before we even leave for our trip!
