Hi Everyone! Sorry I havn't posted a blog in a while. We have been very busy here this month. We have been here for less than 2 weeks, but I feel like it's been a month already! I am currently working on blogs about some of the ministry we have done, but I am not done with them and I havn't had a chance to put picutes on my computer yet, so once I get them on, I'll be posting… so thanks for being patient! I just wanted to update everyone on the ministry we're doing. Week one, we worked with a developing Burmese Refugee school/church. There's a lot I could write about here, but basically, these families and children had to flee from Burma because of the fighting and persecution going on there… there is basically a genocide happening right now. So, these kids that come to this school have never even been to school before. They have no books, hardly any supplies, and they have school in apartments. I'll save the rest for another blog 🙂 We also painted an entire church/school… it took 3 days but it is awesom! The kids love it! (Also on another blog) And finally, we spent this past weekend out in the jungle preaching sermons in small villages. That was awesome… I have lots of picuters and videos… once again, another blog. In between all of this stuff, we have gone to church, small group meetings, helped with the restaurant our contacts own, worked with a prostutue ministry, and done a street feeding!
And that is why you havn't heard much from me this month… but I promise.. pictures and blogs are on the way!!
And now for a little PRAISE… congrats to my brother, Zach and his beautiful new bride and my newest (and last) sister, Amanda!!! I'm so excited for them… pray that God blesses them in every way!
Also, congrats to my little sister, Sheela on her Engagement to Jeremiah and on the baby that they are expecting in September!!! Praise Jesus for my new nephew, Roman Gabriel! God is just going to pour heaps of blessings on them… I just know it!
