1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another, and build each other up, just as you are doing.”
So my team and I have been talking a lot about change and how we are just so excited to see how God is going to grow us and change us this year. The first month we had a lot of expectations of how the World Race was going to be and it is totally different than what we thought. We didn’t realize how busy we were going to be or how we were going to have to find time to get together as a team, but we’re figuring it out! Tonight we had some awesome prayer time after feedback. We prayed for each other and our personal struggles and growth, we prayed for healing, and we also prayed for our squad mates who are out in different cities and villages this month. So, I just wanted to share some of the declarations we produced from our meeting tonight that we came up with as a team. We are striving to become Proverbs 31 women, so here is what we declared over each other!
You are a woman who is confident in her knowledge of the love of God and proclaims her faith with sincerity, boldness and full disclosure.
You are a woman of good reputation who sticks to her word and follows through.
You are a woman who gives wise counsel in a non judgmental and approachable way. Like a mother you build people up and encourage them.
You are a woman who genuinely loves people from a place of honesty and humility.
You are a woman who is bold and confident in her faith, who loves without fear and does not back down when she is called to give counsel.
Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
