It is with great joy that I have the
opportunity to share with you what has been going on in my life! As you all
know, I have been going through some pretty tough changes to say the least. I
want to thank all of you for your love and support through this crazy
transition. God has a crazy, amazing way of using things in people’s lives for
His glory, and that is what I am writing you about today.
It
has always been my heart’s desire to serve the Lord overseas and share Christ
with people in desperate need of a savior. I have done a few short term
overseas trips which were amazing and life changing, but I crave something even
bigger. I want to step out of my comfort zone and into the life the Lord has
planned for me. At the exact right moment in my life, when I didn’t know what
to do next, I turned to God for direction. After a few weeks of praying and
searching, it was clear to me what He wanted me to do. I am currently a
substitute teacher and a nanny with flexible hours, which gives me the freedom
to go on a long term missions trip. An amazing opportunity was shared with me
by a special friend. It was an eleven month, eleven different countries trip
around the world to share Jesus with countless people. The mission trip is
called the World Race. When I heard about this journey, God immediately started
opening doors and before I knew it, I was accepted to join the group that
leaves in January 2011! I will be traveling along with roughly 70 people which
will be broken down into teams of 6 to 7. You can read all about it, watch the

will be living out of a backpack and traveling to a new country each month,
including India, Indonesia, Australia, Mozambique, South Africa, Romania and much more! I know
God is going to do big things in my life and the people I will come in contact
with.
During this trip I will be discipled
and trained in various areas of ministry and missions. I am so thankful to God
for this opportunity that is before me and trust that he will meet my needs. My
prayer is that God will provide support of my trip through you. I would be
honored if you could partner with me prayerfully and financially. Over the next
few months in preparation for this journey, and while I am traveling for the
next 11 months, I will need lots of prayer support. I must raise roughly $14,000 to cover all of
my expenses while on the field for a year. There is an option of mailing a

I am very excited about how God will use me
and what He will teach me through this amazing experience. I hope not to only
be a blessing to those I serve but also to you. My desire it to go as your
