Fayetteville, NC…here's some things that make it a WONDERFUL place to live 🙂

3. Friends like Samantha Updegraff, Stephanie Bellomy, and Michelle Hernandez…just to name a few 🙂
4. Panera Bread, Applebee's, Chic-Fil-A
5. Air-conditioning
6. An actual place to call home
7. My car
8. Bible studies…in English
9. Hot showers
10. All my clothes and shoes
I have thoroughly enjoyed serving The Lord in all these different places around the world…BUT I am excited to be home. I do desire to continue pursuing missions overseas in the future, and I trust the Lord will lead and guide me.
With all this being said, I have an encouragement. If you live in Fayetteville, NC, and you find yourself writing Facebook posts about how much 'Fayetteville sucks' or that you hate it for various reasons, try asking the Lord if that post is really going to do anything about how you feel. There is a wonderful promise from the Lord in Hebrews 13:5, which says,
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'
Instead of complaining about it, take it to the Lord. And believe me…it's way better. This is something the Lord has been teaching me. He has showed me so many different levels of poor…and there are SO many people around the world who have nothing. But, because they have Jesus, they have EVERYTHING!!! I have met some pretty joyful people…and the most joyful are those who have the least.
