Last month in Romania was awesome!!! Let me share with you why…it wasn't because of anything cool I saw, or anywhere special I went…BUT it was because I serve an AWESOME GOD!!! My team had the privilege of working with Pastor Raul and Hope Church. The Lord has done such a great work in this man's heart and given him a seemingly unquenchable passion for the lost. He shared with us that there are 350,000 people in Olt county. Of that number, there are approximately 200 believers. And of these believers, there are 20 missionaries. There is a great need for the Gospel everywhere…and Pastor Raul and his team of missionaries live by that. Just being around them gave me such a desire to share the Gospel!! I am so thankful for getting to spend a month working alongside them for the Gospel.
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:24-25, 'And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.'
These missionaries were doing just this. Not only in meeting together, but in their dedication and passion they showed for doing what The Lord has called every Christian to do…spread the Gospel.
I most enjoyed sharing the Gospel with different people we met while doing street ministry, making home visits, or after church. I can't even begin to explain the JOY The Lord gives me when I am talking about Him…especially when talking with an unbeliever!! I feel privileged to speak about Him and share what He has done in my life. Praise The Lord!!
