I imagine we’ve all heard the saying “there’s no “i” in team.”  Sure, you can spell ‘met,’ ‘am,’ ‘tea,’ etc., but that has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m writing about.  Ironically enough, you can also spell ‘me,’ but by pointing that out I completely squash the inspirational-like moment I was trying to build.  So, um, pretend you didn’t read the ‘me’ thing… ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyway…my point here is how the Body of Christ is like a massive puzzle and every single one of us is a piece that matters greatly in His plan.  Imagine putting 3,999,999,999 pieces together (better have a LOT of floor space) but not finding that last piece.  It would be obvious, and the puzzle would be incomplete.  In the same way, the Lord has designed us all in His perfect, beautiful, gorgeous way, and as the Body, we all fit together to form His design.
As we are now six weeks from heading to Cambodia (can I get a whoop-whoop! ๐Ÿ™‚ ), it has really struck me that all five teams have been formed exactly the way the Lord wants them to be.  We all have different strengths, weaknesses, talents, capabilities, pasts, presents and futures.  And right now, for this time, He has united us all in His Masterful way to do His will and bring His Hope and Truth to the world.  He knows who will speak words of encouragement when needed.  He knows who will be strong when others are struggling.  He knows who will bring a smile, a hug, or a tissue when the heartbreak feels overwhelming. It is a beautiful thing… ๐Ÿ™‚
“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.  For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body-whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
