We are being given the most amazing opportunity to go into IHNFA  four times this month.

IHNFA is an institution for street kids that have been abandonded.

This past Friday was our first visit.

We went in expecting to find hard-hearted street kids.
We were expecting to be shunned or disrespected.
We were expecting to come face-to-face with kids that just didn't want us there.

And we got everything that we DIDN'T expect.

We walked into a community of children longing for love and attention.
We walked into a community of children that had been forgotten or just plain ole' left.
We walked into a community of children that had open arms and aching hearts.

It was such a blessing to be amongst those children.
We spent the afternoon just hanging out and playing games with them.
Their ages ranged from a few weeks old to about 16 years.

There was a little boy whom I didn't have the opportunity to meet but a few others did.
A camper recently found him in the woods and brought him to IHNFA.
He had been surviving on his own.
They tried to place him with family but since has been placed back into their custody.
This precious little boy is about 10 years old and is as fragile and frail as they come.
He can't speak and grew up without human interaction. In place of language, he uses various grunting noises.
They aren't sure how long he was out there but he survived by eating trash and feces.
He survived against all odds.

Doesn't that just give you goosebumps?

Every single human being is important.
And that little boy has such a calling on his life.
He survived against all odds.

Six years, in the woods, surviving.

PLEASE try to tell me that God isn't going to use him because I have a million reasons as to why He is.

Every life is important . . no matter how big or how small.

There are things happening like this everyday around the world.
Children being left in random places, and those kids surviving; against all odds.

God has His hand on each
and every one of them.

Let's thank Him for that.
