Grace.

It's a word we throw around like a hotcake and yet, do we honestly know what it means?

Do we know how to give it?
Receive it?
Not take it for granted?

Grace.
verb : to confer dignity or honor on

God gives continual grace,
no matter the circumstance or situation.

That term is thrown around here a lot.. (living in community and all.)

It's a constant struggle against flesh to always have grace.

And it's harder when the grace isn't returned.
It's more of a struggle when you're walking down a one-way street full of grace.

But that's what God does.

He's always extending grace to us, and we take it for granted.
We continually turn a cold shoulder to it.
Maybe we don't notice that it's being given,
or maybe we conciously choose to ignore it.

Whatever the case, it happens; often.

As Christians, we are called to live like Christ.
We are called to be like Christ,
To love like Him,
To forgive like Him,
To be as much like Him as possible.

Unfortunately for us, He was perfect ..
We will never be.

We will mess up,
We will fail or snap,
We will have human moments.

We have no control over our spiritual gifts; those are given by God.
And we will never be perfect.

But the one thing we CAN control in being like Christ is
to conciously give the same grace that He is giving us, even to this day.

We can love like Him,
forgive like Him,
and extend unconditional grace like Him.

Even if you don't know how you can look past it
or even forgive it,..

It's like those cheesy W.W.J.D bracelets from the 90's.

What they represent is very true ..

"What would Jesus Do?"

He would extend grace …

no matter the circumstances.
