One of the things
that I really took away from the World Race was the importance of love. Love is
a language spoke by all, it is what ties us together and is the foundation of
life and is the composition is God. Knowing this, I have felt compelled to do a
word application bible study and was hoping you would join me. 🙂 Whether you read the bible or not I believe this is an amazing study for anyone’s life.

What better section
to go through on love than the famous 1 Corinthians 13 description on love?

We talk about love,
we talk about the importance of love, but do we really apply it to our life? When
asking myself that question as I read through 1 Corinthians 13 I was much
convicted. Am I really patient? Kind? Am I not envious, boastful or proud? Do I
make sure to not dishonor other, not self-seek, not easily angered, not keeping
a record of wrong? Do I not delight in things going wrong but only when the
truth wins? Do I always protect, trust, hope and always love? Honestly, not
always.

This is why I have
decided to do an application study. How this works: each week take the word of
the week and really think, pray and apply it to your week.

The next blog will
start the study. I hope you will join me in my quest to better understand love
and truly apply it to my life. Please comment on the blog or email me and write
in your own thoughts, scripture, opinions, or words of wisdom for each subject.
Also I would love to hear about different weekly struggles or victories in
applying the word to your week, and hopefully to your life.

I wish you all the
best on this journey with me.
