Road trip of a lifetime.

When I signed up for the world race, never did I think I
would be driving through one third of Africa in a truck named ‘Donkey’. How did
this come about you ask, well, God.

Marie and Johan, our contacts in Senga Bay, Malawi, needed
to get their truck down to Cape Town, and we just so happened to want to drive
down to Cape Town if possible. They were crazy enough….yes I said it, crazy
enough to trust us to take it down, so we did.

Senga Bay, Malawi -> Chipata, Zambia -> Lusaka, Zambia
-> Livingston, Zambia -> Panamontenga, Botswana -> Tom Burke, South
Africa -> Petoria, South Africa -> Bloemfontein, South Africa -> CAPE
TOWN

We came across phenomenal sunsets, 4am mornings to start the
drive for the day, Victoria Falls, bungee jumping off of Victoria Falls, late
nights talking Jesus with others we met at the hostels, elephants blocking the
road, giraffes on the side of the road, seeing Last place in Bloemfontein and
attending the AMAZING church their contact attends, staying with and being
blessed by every place we stayed along the way…truly, indescribable.

I debated writing more, but decided to let the pictures
speak for themselves. I recommend visiting my teammates sites, a few of them
have posted detailed blogs about the road trip. Enjoy 🙂
