Leaving southern Romania was bitter sweet. The dreary atmosphere
was so refreshing to get out of, but the people will be greatly missed.

There were a few things we did that were new since the last
time I posted.

One of them consisted of Melissa, Craig and I…SINGING in
church!! What?!!? Yes, Natalie, the non-singer got up and attempted “Sanctuary”
in front of the congregation. It was supposed to be the whole team but a few
things got in the way of that, so the traveling-trio belted it. Singing for a
church is one of the ways you can bless the congregation…so we went up there
and blessed them as best as we could.

We also had the opportunity to spackle the upstairs of the
church.

One night we took a few of the missionaries out for dessert
as a thank you for everything they had done for us. The desserts were
delicious! The best part though was afterward when we went back to the head
pastor’s house, Raul, and played dominoes (Mexican train). I had never played,
and you could tell 🙂

The night before we left we went to a bible study, (Cell
groups), and upon arrival we found a dog who apparently likes to hang out on
the roof of his dog house a lot. Random, but thought it was funny 🙂

It was a good three week’s southern Romania. Raul and Ana
Costea, Alexe and Veronica Costea, Denutz and Lidia Opris, Cristi and Roxanne,
Ilenana Mihai, and Mariana, Dorothy Reid, and George and Dana, and all of your families we will continue
to pray for you!
