Well first off I’m sorry that you haven’t received a blog update on what has been going on in Romania when we are already leaving tomorrow. I was at the internet café last week and had written a blog and thought I posted it but some how it didn’t post.
The last two weeks have flown by. We have been working in several different ways to meet some of the needs of the people of Viile Tecii. Doing things like building projects, cooking or just sitting and being company for someone who doesn’t have any. I was able to visit with a woman who has cancer and lives with her mother. They are such sweet women and even though I couldn’t talk with them I spent many hours just sitting with them and praying for them.
Tomorrow we leave to go to The World Race conference which is in another city in Romania. We will be with all the other squads that are on the field right now along with some people from previous races. We are looking forward to having four days of teaching, fellowship and worship with believers from all over the US and Canada. We are also looking forward to seeing our coaches as it’s been 3 months!
Please pray for safe travels for everyone coming to the conference and that it is an amazing time of refreshment in the Lord. Thank you so much for all your comments of encouragement, prayers and support. It means so much to know that I have people back home thinking about me.
